I’m passionate about food. The preparation of food, the processing and the produce. Hunting for ingredients. Finding whole foods. Sourcing local and seasonal. Indulging in it. Food is pure pleasure to me.

I remember myself ten years ago, I was at a crossroads in my life. The life I had lived so far was determined by expectations, of society, of my family and of myself. I didn’t know myself and my body. I ate, what everyone did in my family, what I got used to eat over the years.

Food and the preparation of food growing up was a necessity, in order for the family to have something to eat on the dining table. I experienced a mother who didn’t enjoy cooking nor baking, so preparing food was never fun to me as well.

I can’t remember myself enjoying what I ate, either. I didn’t appreciate the produce and ingredients that went into the dish I was eating. I ate, because I was hungry, not out of pure joy.

Until that pivotal moment that changed everything. With my inner journey and connecting more to myself, I also started getting to know my body better.

I began questioning the way I was eating food, what I ate every day and how the food I ate made me feel. And that’s when I knew, I was on to something. I realized that body, mind and soul really are connected after all...

Now I’m inspiring aspiring Foodies (maybe you?) to experience and enjoy food with all their senses and get them all excited about

  • Digging their hands into the ground and harvesting seasonal produce.

  • Getting to know processing techniques such as pickling, fermenting or canning to preserve it.

  • Inspirations on what and how to prepare seasonal ingredients and how to forage them as well.

  • Cooking and baking with locally sourced whole foods and

  • Indulging into sweet and savory food creations. Eating is FUN!
